CORE VALUE OF THE WEEK - Respect

Highlighted HS Boys Track Athlete of the Week:

Oliyad Boone

Oliyad demonstrates his respect for coaches and fellow athletes by being kind and courteous. He is also polite and avoids interrupting or causing disturbances.

Highlighted HS Girls Track Athlete of the Week:

Myah Allen

Myah is always polite, treats others with respect, and is kind and courteous to her fellow teammates and coaches.

Highlighted HS Golf Athlete of the Week:

Gianna Harrington

Gianna Harrington is a great example of respect as a teammate on and off the course. She is a great communicator and a great example of someone who plays with honor and determination.

Highlighted HS Varsity Fastpitch Softball Athlete of the Week:

Brynlee Frost

Brynlee is one of our senior captains and there is a reason for that.  Brynlee is one of the most respected on the team.   We are so proud of how she has led the team and can’t wait to see her grow on and off the field!

Highlighted HS JV Fastpitch Softball Athlete of the Week:

Maggie Wyrick

Maggie is honest and very respectful.  She loves the game, her team, and the Lord; this is all reflected in the way she carries herself.

Highlighted HS Varsity Baseball Athlete of the Week:

Jacob Bell

Jacob brings Joy to the game of Baseball with humility. He has been a standout for us this year, but with respect for the game and others.

Highlighted HS JV Baseball Athlete of the Week:

Adin Spuler

Adin has done a great job of leading our team. He is fun loving, but also competes hard. He always brings the speaker for music on the bus and is a great glue guy for our team. Adin is an awesome young man who loves his teammates and is respectful of coaches, teammates, and opponents.

Highlighted HS Boys Soccer Athlete of the Week:

Sam Young

Sam is one of the hardest workers on the field for us and in our most recent game against Colville got to play on the field in the second half instead of in goal as he is used to. The referee made some incorrect calls against him that saw him receiving an undeserved yellow card for simply working hard for the ball. He was very respectful to the official and kept his cool despite the latter calls not making any sense.

Highlighted JH Varsity Baseball Athlete of the Week:

Ian Wilkinson

Our team is full of respectful players, but Ian stands out in his respectful maturity.   This past week Ian showed understanding of a couple things that needed to be corrected.  He demonstrated respect towards his coach to simply listen and learn.   The next day, Ian doubled-down on respect and showed humility and understanding, after reflection, by coming to his coach on his own and recognizing his faults and what needed to improve.   That was extremely mature, and no doubt shows the good young man he is.

Highlighted JH JV Baseball Athlete of the Week:

Skyler Pounder

Skyler breeds respect on our team, and very likely is a silent leader in this, meaning he shows others by his actions.  Skyler hustles, speaks respectfully with his coaches and fellow players, and never stops working hard.  Skyler's respect and hard work was noticeable from the beginning of our season and has been continuous.  Thank you, Skyler, for being a respectful model to others.

Highlighted JH Softball Athlete of the Week:

Mercy Snediker & Sophie Vrablick

Mercy and Sophie do an amazing job of showing respect to coaches, and the other girls every day!

Blessings,

Beth Wing
